What career & life path led you to working at OneVest?
I have worked at start-ups since the beginning of my career. There was always such a great vibe to be had when a group of people are coming into work energized by the company's success, it always had a much greater weight. It was my dream to be a founder of my own start-up, but it wasn't until I met Jakob and Amar that I was ready to take the leap, and I am so glad that I have!
What do you do at OneVest?
Being the CTO and co-founder, I get to do what I love, build. If that is building the business, sales, culture, the team, or technology, all of it is incredibly fun to me. I try to be a jack of all trades and just jump in to help whoever needs it across the entire business.
What is your favourite part about working at OneVest?
The team is amazing, every single team member is not only great and kind people but, are all driven to the same goal of making a kick-ass company. We are so fortunate to have been able to find each and every team member, and they all add so much value to both the business, and each other.
What do you do outside of work?
Being an Aussie, I am a massive fan of AFL (Aussie Rules), being in a different timezone has meant that I have been known to get up at 3 am on weekends to watch the game, that has now become even easier due to me being a new dad, so I am usually up with my son Hayden anyway! I was also a large traveller before COVID, having been to over 30 countries, I am really excited for my kid to get older so I can show him around the world!
